Introit: O Worship the King
LYONS/Bisbee
Welcome & Call to Worship
[Psalm 27]
The LORD is our light and our salvation; whom shall we fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of our lives; of whom shall we be afraid?
Do not cast us off, O God of our salvation! If even our families forsake us,
the LORD will take us up.
Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!
Let us worship the LORD!
What Wondrous Love (Hymn 85)
American Folk Hymn
What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul,
What wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss
To bear the heavy cross for my soul, for my soul,
To bear the heavy cross for my soul!
To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing,
To God and to the Lamb, I will sing;
To God and to the Lamb who is the great I AM,
While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing;
While millions join the theme, I will sing!
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on,
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on;
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be,
and through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on,
And through eternity I’ll sing on!
Confession
Jesus, you remained grounded in your healing work even when your life was threatened. Forgive us when our fears distract us from your work. You longed to gather Jerusalem yet respected her freedom to refuse. Forgive us when we base our worth on how others receive us. Help us rest in our baptismal identity as your beloved and offer ourselves authentically. Amen.

Song of Gratitude: Restore In Us, O God
Carl Daw Jr./Hopson
Restore in us, O God, the splendor of your love;
Renew your image in our hearts, and all our sins remove.
O Spirit, wake in us the wonder of your power;
From fruitless fear unfurl our lives like spring-time bud and flower.
Forgiveness in Jesus Christ
Peace
The peace of Christ be with you.
And also with you.

Response: God of the Ages (Hymn 262)
Warren/Roberts
God of the ages, whose almighty hand
Leads forth in beauty all the starry band
Of shining worlds in splendor through the skies,
Our grateful songs before Thy throne arise.
Thy love divine hath led us in the past;
In this free land by Thee our lot is cast;
Be Thou our ruler, guardian, guide, and stay;
Thy word our law, Thy paths our chosen way.
From war’s alarms, from deadly pestilence,
Be Thy strong arm our ever sure defense;
Thy true religion in our hearts increase;
Thy bounteous goodness nourish us in peace.
Refresh Thy people on their toilsome way,
Lead us from night to never-ending day;
Fill all our lives with love and grace divine,
And glory, laude, and praise be ever Thine.
Pastoral Prayer & The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Giving our Gifts to God
Joey Addington
