Scott Starbuck

Husband and Father of four children, Scott understands the opportunities and stresses that traditional and non-traditional families face—especially in thinking theologically with their children.

His mission at Manito Presbyterian Church is to support a community that embraces spiritual development in individual, realistic, and effective ways in our fast-paced world, without watering down the deep content, mystery, and transformative call of faith.

A native of Chicago, Scott has become a Northwest enthusiast for cycling, coffee, music and the arts, and ecological stewardship.

Scott has been an ordained minister since 1990.  He is a graduate of Whitworth University (BA) and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div. and Ph.D.).  As a biblical theologian, Scott is a published author and regularly teaches at Gonzaga and Whitworth Universities.
